Oscar and Rose at Patchetts Premier

After leaving University in Manchester on Friday night, Rose travelled to Patchetts Equestrian Centre with Oscar to participate in the premier show.

They jumped well and collected only 8 faults in their first 1.35 together. The unfortunate faults were collected in the treble combination across the centre of the indoor school after Oscar tripped on landing over the first part. Oscar then tried his heart out to continue to jump the combination, but was unable to pick up enough after the unbalance and just tipped off the next two elements.

This achievement was particularly pleasing as the pair had not been together for some two weeks, and they managed all the difficult related distances as pros.
